Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Platform on any device — including web (playobm.com) and mobile applications — you enter into a legally binding agreement with Online Basketball Manager ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms apply to all users worldwide.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Platform. By agreeing to these Terms, you confirm that you are 13 or older. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have obtained the consent of a parent or legal guardian to use the Platform.

We reserve the right to terminate any account we reasonably believe belongs to a user under the age of 13, without notice.

The Platform is provided strictly as a free, non-commercial, research and experimentation project. It is not a commercial product.

Any player names, team names, statistics, or other data relating to the National Basketball Association ("NBA") or its affiliated entities that may appear on the Platform are used solely for educational, research, and experimental purposes. The Platform:

• Is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to the NBA, the National Basketball Players Association (NBPA), or any NBA team • Does not claim any rights to NBA intellectual property • Does not charge users any fees, subscriptions, or payments of any kind in connection with real NBA data • Does not use such data for any commercial purpose

You agree to use the Platform for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not use, reproduce, or redistribute any content from the Platform for commercial gain.

The Platform is a simulation game. All match results, statistics, player performances, trade outcomes, season simulations, and any other in-game events are entirely fictional and randomly generated. They have no connection to real-world sporting events, outcomes, or performances.

We make no guarantees about the accuracy, realism, or fairness of any simulation or game mechanic. To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any dissatisfaction with game outcomes, simulation results, or platform performance • We are not liable for any loss of in-game progress, data, or account access resulting from technical issues, maintenance, or platform changes • The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied

By using the Platform, you agree to the collection and use of certain personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. In summary:

What we collect: • Account information (email address, username) • Usage data (login activity, game interactions, session data) • Device type and browser information for technical purposes • General location derived from your IP address (city and country only)

How we use it: • To operate and improve the Platform • To communicate with you about your account or Platform updates • We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes

Your rights: If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at playobm@gmail.com.

We retain your data only for as long as your account is active or as needed to operate the Platform. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

You agree not to:

• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or copy any part of the Platform • Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Platform • Impersonate any other user or person • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account or system • Use the Platform in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Platform at any time without notice. We also reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Where changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
